Abstract:To a certain extent, the achievement of regional innovation performance depends on the coupling and coordination degree of technology economy system in a specific space. In this paper, 30 provinces, autonomous regions and cities in China are taken as the object to construct the coupling coordination degree model of intellectual property and high-quality development, and to explore the coupling coordination between invention patents and high-quality economic development in provincial administrative regions of China since 2015. The results show that Beijing is in the high coordination range (0.8≤D〈1). Guangdong, Shanghai and Jiangsu are in the middle coordination range (0.6≤D〈0.8), while Zhejiang and Shandong are in the primary coordination range (0.4≤D〈0.6). The other 24 provinces, autonomous regions and cities fall into the dissonance range, suggesting that the overall pattern of mutual promotion between intellectual property rights and high-quality economic development in China still has a long way to go. It is found that the contribution of green, coordination, intellectual property maintenance and other order parameters to the whole system is low, and the corresponding policy suggestions are put forward.
