Abstract:Two-dimensional materials have received widespread attention because of their carrier migration and heat diffusion being confined in the two-dimensional plane, making this material exhibit many peculiar properties. Two-dimensional transition metal carbides, nitrides or carbonitrides (MXenes) are a new type of two-dimensional layered structural materials with high electronic conductivity, large specific surface area, good mechanical properties and unique layers, whhich have been widely used in energy storage, catalysis, adsorption and other fields. In this article, the different preparation strategies of MXenes-based photocatalysts materials are described and the advantages and disadvantages of different preparation processes are summarized. Finally, specific insights and prospects are put forward for the future development and research direction of MXenes-based photocatalyst and its composite materials in emerging fields.
