Abstract:Using the user generated content (UGC) to analyze tourists' evaluation and feelings of tourist destinations is one of the effective ways to study the perception of tourist destination image. This paper used the LocoySpider to collect the review of travel in Wuhan on network community service platform——“Baidu Travel”. With the content analysis method as the research method and the help of ROSTER CM6 the textual materials are analyzed. The results show as follows. 1) Among the most focused tourism resources, Wuhan has a large amount of humanistic tourism resources and high quality natural tourism resources.2) Positive perception factors reflected in aspects such as the strong urban history and humanities, high value of natural tourism resources, cheap and delicious characteristic diet, and frank and enthusiasm local residents. Negative perception is due to factors such as urban traffic congestion, crowded people and the price of scenic spot which does not match its value represented by the Yellow Crane Tower. 3) Propagation of high quality tourism elements which is ignored by tourists is required to be further promoted by the government of Wuhan City.
