Abstract:As an important path to lead the coordinated development of regional innovation, the improvement of the health level of innovation ecosystem is of great significance for the high-quality development of regional innovation ecosystem. In this study the dynamic comprehensive evaluation model with speed characteristics is used to evaluate the health of regional innovation ecosystem in 30 provinces and cities in China. The results are shown as follows.The health level of regional innovation ecosystem in China is decreasing from east to west, and the gap between health level of regional innovation ecosystem is wide. The rapid increase of diversity level drives the growth of regional innovation ecosystem health in Sichuan and other provinces or cities. The growth of system vitality level elevates the health level of regional innovation ecosystem in Guangdong and other provinces or cities. The level of resistance to the improvement of regional innovation ecosystem health is not significant. The sustainability of regional innovation ecosystem in most provinces or cities in China is declining. The provinces or cities should figure out the targeted path to improve the health level of regional innovation ecosystem according to local conditions, formulating accurate policy supply, promoting the improvement of health level of regional innovation ecosystem, and helping regional innovation ecosystem achieve high-quality development.
