Research on collaborative innovation development of science and technology in Yangtze River Delta region:based on regional paper and patent cooperation

Abstract:Scientific and technological collaborative innovation in the Yangtze River Delta plays an important supporting role in the high-quality integration of the Yangtze River Delta. In this paper, innovation cooperation data among the Yangtze River Delta are used to construct regional scientific and technological collaborative innovation indicators, mainly with the data of regional paper and patent cooperation, and the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of scientific and technological collaborative innovation among the Yangtze River Delta are analyzed. It is found that the regional science and technology collaborative innovation index of the Yangtze River Delta basically shows an upward trend with fluctuation, and the degree of science and technology collaborative onnovation in the Yangtze River Delta is gradually deepening. The network trend of regional innovation cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta is obvious, and it is changing from a single center cooperation network to a multi center cooperation network. Core cities often have comparative advantages in multiple subdivided fields, but the advantages of non core cities often focus on a certain field. The other three provinces in the Yangtze River Delta rely on Shanghai's advantageous innovation resources for innovation. Shanghai's innovation spillover has promoted the patent cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta. The degree of paper cooperation has increased rapidly, and it is mainly dominated by the growth of high-quality paper cooperation in the first region, which can play a great role in promoting the high-quality development of the integration of the Yangtze River Delta. From the comparison between regions, it can be seen that the cooperation between Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai is closer, while the cooperation between Anhui Province and other regions is lower. The innovation cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta might still be mainly horizontal cooperation, in which the paper cooperation is mainly horizontal cooperation and the patent cooperation is mainly vertical cooperation. The Yangtze River Delta integration expansion has a significant role in promoting regional collaborative innovation, and has a greater impact on high-quality invention patents.
