Abstract：In recent years， based on the development of agricultural cultural heritage as a unique resource， agricultural heritage tourism has developed rapidly and attracted the attention of researchers. From the CNKI and WOS database， 433 literatures on domestic agricultural cultural heritage tourism and 97 literatures on foreign agricultural cultural heritage tourism were selected as the original data， and the corresponding scientific knowledge map was drawn by the visual analysis software CiteSpace. This paper makes a bibliometric analysis on the research progress of agricultural heritage tourism from the aspects of research institutions， research authors， research hotspots and research frontiers. Conclusions are as follows. 1) From 2006 to 2021， the number of domestic and foreign research papers on agricultural heritage tourism research showed an overall forward trend. 2) Foreign research institutions are mainly universities， and institutions in the same country cooperate closely； domestic research institutions are concentrated in the scientific research institutions and major universities in Beijing and Nanjing. The cooperation between institutions in the same region is close， and the core authors led by Min Qingwen and Sun Yehong and their teams have achieved fruitful results. 3) In the existing research content， foreign research mainly focuses on rural development and agricultural products in heritage sites； domestic research focuses on the evaluation of tourism resources value of agricultural heritage， heritage conservation and tourism development， tourism development and so on. 4) Foreign frontier research is mainly in the Asia-Pacific region， focusing on the linkage between heritage product brands and tourism； domestic frontier research focuses on agricultural heritage tourism community participation， development and dynamic conservation， development countermeasures and so on. Comparing and learning from foreign research， it’s suggested to further broaden the research horizon， adopt multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary research ideas in the future， expand the research content and focus on the research on the system and mechanism of sustainable tourism development of agricultural heritage tourism， dynamic conservation and agricultural heritage tourism in ethnic minority areas. It’s also requried to strengthen quantitative research and the application of information technology， and carry out research cooperation under multi technology， so as to make the research more scientific and objective.
