Abstract Although there is no major research pattern change in Chinese modern literature research in 2018， there are many new discoveries and advances in the discussion of methodology， the exploration and arrangement of new historical materials， Lu Xun research， Guo Moruo research， left-wing literature research， new poetry research， and important literary texts and literary phenomena. Researchers are trying to break through the highly solidified research structure by learning from new theories and adopting interdisciplinary research methods to raise new question awareness and provide observational perspectives.
