| Considerations on Some Issues in the Theoretical Construction of Chinese Political Science |

Abstract With the advent of the new era， Chinese political science has entered a new stage of development. Knowledge production based on Chinese practice and theoretical construction based on comparative politics have become an academic mission that Chinese political science researchers must undertake. At such an important change node， methodological thinking on knowledge production and theoretical construction is a necessary and important pre-work. On the basis of existing discussions， the thesis identifies the basic dimensions， logical space and possible evolutionary paths of the theoretical innovation of Chinese political science. It believes that the theoretical innovation of Chinese political science is an interdisciplinary， transnational， and intergenerational systematic project. How to deal with the relationship between China’s modernization and its cultural tradition， Chinese practice and Western theories is still a problem that needs to be explored continuously.
