Abstract:The development of digital cultural tourism enterprises is one of the important pathways to promoting the construction of a strong tourism nation with new productive forces. Based on data from digital cultural tourism enterprises in Hubei Province, this study integrates methods of nearest neighbor index, standard deviation ellipse, and kernel density estimation to analyze the spatiotemporal distribution patterns, spatial distribution characteristics, distribution directions, and kernel density of these enterprises. The study alsoemploys geographic detector methods to explore the influencing factors. Results are shown as follows. 1) Digital cultural tourism enterprises in Hubei are primarily distributed in Wuhan, Yichang, Enshi, Shiyan, Xiangyang, Huanggang, and other regions, suggesting that these areas have strong competitiveness and development potential in the field of digital cultural tourism. 2) The spatial distribution of digital cultural tourism enterprises in Hubei exhibits a clustering pattern, and the degree of clustering has been continuously increasing. Moreover, different types of enterprises show varying degrees of clustering, with enterprises with larger registered capital having a relatively lower clustering degree. 3) The spatial distribution of digital cultural tourism enterprises in Hubei follows a “East (slightly north)-West (slightly south)” trend. The distribution trend of enterprises spreads outwards to the east and west over time, with the trajectory of the elliptical center point slightly shifting southeast. 4) The evolution of the kernel density of digital cultural tourism enterprises in Hubei Province shows a development trend from a scattered independent structure to a clustered group structure. Wuhan has consistently been the area with the highest kernel density and is the central hub for spatial distribution development. 5) The primary factors influencing the spatial distribution of digital cultural tourism enterprises in Hubei include education levels, technological development, policy support, consumption capacity, market potential, and transportation infrastructure. This research provides theoretical guidance and practical implications for the high-quality development of digital culture and tourism enterprises.
