Abstract:The studies of medical history in modern China have developed nearly 100 years, and the subject backgrounds and the research orientations of researchers have experienced great changes. Specifically, the studies of medical history not only focus on the evolution of medical theory and technology, but also on the social and cultural transition. The subject backgrounds of researchers are no longer within the limits of medicine, and more and more scholars in humanities and social science, especially historians, pay attention to this research field.
