Abstract:To investigate the molecular evolution and biological function of miR-1/133 gene cluster , we searched comment information and analyzed the structure and sequence characteristics of miR-1/133 gene cluster by using miRBase database. The phylogenetic trees were constructed by Maximum Likelihood method. The upstream transcription factors and target genes of miR-1/133 gene cluster were studied by integrating compressive information from different online databases. The phylogenetic trees analysis showed that there is some differences between molecular evolution of miR-1/133 gene cluster and the evolution of animals. The miR-1/133 gene cluster is highly conserved and stably exists in Bilaterians. The predicted target genes were involved in some important signaling pathways, including Skeletal muscle and myocardial development, insulin receptor signaling pathway, Wnt signaling pathway, P53 signaling pathway. Bioinformatic analysis of molecular evolution and the regulation network of the miR-1/133 gene cluster potentially provide a theoretical basis for deeper insights into its biological function.
