Abstract:LDH/Fe3O4@Cu2O composites were prepared by liquid phase reduction in the precursor of preparing Cu2O by adding LDH/Fe3O4, and the photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride wastewater was carried out. The effects of catalyst dosage, light intensity, pH values and coexisting ions on the photocatalytic performance of LDH/Fe3O4@Cu2O composites were investigated. The active groups which played a major role in photocatalysis were analyzed. The results show that the prepared LDH/Fe3O4@Cu2O composites have good photocatalytic properties and the composites can improve the rate and effect of photocatalytic degradation compared with Cu2O alone. The optimum conditions for photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride were as follows: the calalyst dosage, the light intensity, pH and the TC degradation efficiency was 0.1 g·L-1,500 W, 10 and 95.2%,respectively. The presence of Cl- and HCO in the solution reduces the photocatalytic efficiency, and it is confirmed by the free radical inhibition experiment that O plays a major role in the photocatalytic process.
