Abstract:From the perspective of tourism utilization, the intangible cultural heritage resources in Gansu are integrated into five types, and the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of the five types of resources are studied through GIS spatial analysis techniques with their tourism utilization methods explored. The results are as follows. 1) Intangible cultural heritage tourism resources in Gansu Province can be integrated into folk literature, performing arts, arts and crafts, knowledge and practice, and folk festivals, with obvious differences in the structure of the five types of resources and the highest proportion of arts and crafts. 2) The spatial distribution of intangible cultural heritage tourism resources in Gansu is uneven, showing a gradual decrease in distribution characteristics from the Longhai-Lanxin axis, historical and cultural areas and multi-ethnic areas to the surrounding areas. 3) In terms of temporal pattern, the distribution characteristics of the four batches of intangible cultural heritage resources are different, and in general, they have undergone a process of concentration followed by dispersion, with each municipality exhibiting three types: stable growth, fluctuating growth and “high start and low finish”. 4) Tourism development has a significant positive impact on the spatial differentiation of intangible cultural heritage resources. Accordingly, the tourism utilization of intangible cultural heritage resources is proposed from two perspectives: content and spatio-temporal pattern, in order to expand the analysis path for the study of tourism utilization of intangible cultural heritage resources.
