Abstract:With the growing upsurge of mountain tourism in the world and given that our country is mountainous, the number of mountain scenic spots is increasing and they are becoming popularamong people. Promoting the high-quality development of mountain scenic tourism is one of the current urgent tasks. The article applies grounded theoretical research methods to construct a driving system for the high-quality tourism development of mountain scenic spots composed of 25 driving factors such as attraction, driving force, support force, and intermediary force, as well as resource endowments, natural ecological environment, business forms and products. The “four forces” subsystem and the mechanism of the overall driving system are deeply discussed. The current development level of its tourism high-quality development driving systemin Yulong Snow Mountain Scenic Area is comprehensively evalued with the relatively high score of 7.030,8 based on the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Most of the driving force subsystems and driving factors have not reached the high-quality development level and need to be further improved. Finally, related discussions were made on how to promote the high-quality development of mountain scenic tourism, and suggestions on key enhancements were put forward from the perspective of attractiveness, driving force, support force and intermediary force.
