Abstract：A preliminary statistics were carried out to know the wild woody ornamental plants in Lushan Mountain based on literature research and field study. The results showed that there are 472 species of wild woody ornamental plants， belonging to 69 families and 211 genera， respectively. There are 5 dominan families， including Fagaceae， Ulmaceae， Magnoliaceae， Lauraceae and Saxifragaceaee， and 4 genera， including Photinia， Lespedeza， Ilex and Viburnum. Characteristics of wild woody ornamental plant resources， life form， ornamental characteristics and landscape application were analyzed in Lushan Mountain. Wild woody ornamental plants in Lushan Mountain have diverse species composition， which suggested that the publicity and ecological environmental protection should be strengthened， as well as the introduction， domestication， cultivation， propagation， protection and utilization of wild woody ornamental plant resources.
