Abstract:To optimize extraction conditions of stem and leaf from Sabia parviflora Wall. ex Roxb, in this paper, orthogonal design was used and the ratio of material to liquid, extraction temperature and extraction time were selected as the extraction factors. The survival rate of normal human hepatic cell (LO2) damaged by carbon tetrachloride was considered as the index of hepatoprotective activity for statistical analysis. The results showed that the optimum extraction conditions were as follows: 10 g powder, 200 mL water and 80 ℃ water bath for 1 h. The extraction process is reasonable and repeatable, which would be applied in the extraction process of Sabia parviflora Wall. ex Roxb extraction.
