Abstract:A two-party closed-loop supply chain system with one manufacturer and one retailer is chosen in this paper, where the manufacturer both produces new products and remanufactures the authorized products, with the retailer selling all those products. Then the problem how the retailer’s fairness concerns and the government’s subsidies will affect the close-loop system is discussed. Based on the conditions of the government’s subsidies to the remanufactured products, and the retailer’s fairness concern preference, three closed-loop supply chain models are presented to investigate the influence of retailer’s fairness concerns on the decision behaviors of the government, the manufacturer and the retailer. The optimal decision of profit distribution, consumer’s surplus, and government’ subsidy are suggested for this system. In the end, a numerical case is studied to explore the decision results of this remanufacturing supply chain system. The conclusions provide a theoretical reference for government and supply chain members to make better decisions in remanufactured products.
