Abstract:Nitrobenzene can cause serious harm to water, human health and ecological environment. In order to detect nitrobenzene, using ZIF-8 and maleic anhydride as raw materials, a composite material ZIF-8@MA (MA: maleic anhydride) was prepared by hydrothermal method, with powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), infrared spectroscopy (IR), ultraviolet spectroscopy (UV) and other methods to characterize it. The results of fluorescence response of the composite material in a series of organic solvents showed that nitrobenzene had an efficient fluorescence quenching ability for ZIF-8@MA. Further research found that 180 mg·L-1 nitrobenzene almost completely quenched ZIF-8@MA. These results indicate that ZIF-8@MA is a highly selective and highly sensitive fluorescent sensor.
