Abstract:In this paper, 69 county-level administrative regions of Zhejiang Province are taken as the basic research unit. The number of invention patents granted and the output value of new products are used as the evaluation index to measure the innovation output.Spatial autocorrelation, NICH index, geographically weighted regression and other methods are applied to analyze the spatial differentiation characteristics and influencing factors of innovation output in Zhejiang Province from 2007 to 2019. The results show that the spatial agglomeration of innovation output in Zhejiang Province is significant from 2007 to 2019, and the distribution of high-innovation output areas is basically consistent with the overall pattern of “One Ring, One Belt and One Channel” in the Greater Bay Area of Zhejiang Province. In Zhejiang Province, there are high value agglomeration and low value agglomeration of innovation output at the county level. Hangzhou urban area and its surrounding counties, Ningbo urban area and itssurrounding counties, and Shaoxing urban area are hot spots. The cold spots are concentrated in the mountainous and hilly areas of southwest and west Zhejiang. By geographically weighted regression analysis it's found that technology spillover and the spatial location has significant positive effectson regional innovation output in Zhejiang Province, while the impacts of industrial upgrading, government policy and innovation investment on innovation output have positive and negative difference. And the influence of the economic foundation on innovation output is negative in general, and only in rare county is positive.
