Abstract:The Qianyang Lake is a vital water source for Xinyu City in Jiangxi Province, and is currently experiencing algal blooms. In order to study the succession of phytoplankton community structure and its relationship with environmental factors in different hydrological periods of Qianyang Lake, the phytoplankton community and water environment of Qianyang Lake were monitored in January, May and July 2022. A total of 58 species of phytoplankton were identified, belonging to 8 phyla, with 23 species from Chlorophyta accounting for 39.66% of the total species, and being the dominant group of phytoplankton in Qianyang Lake. Cryptomonas sp. is the dominant genus (species) in dry season and normal water-level season, while Anabaena sp. is the dominant genus (species) in wet season. The density of phytoplankton was highest in the wet season, followed by the dry season, and lowest in normal water-level season. RDA and stepwise multiple regression analysis indicated that water temperature, pH, ammonia nitrogen were the main environmental factors affecting the dynamics of phytoplankton in Qianyang Lake.
