Determination and Elasticity of Interest Rates:A Possible Explanation
Under a particular social economic circumstance, there is some appropriate and feasible interval of interest rates without abstract natural interest rates. The interest rate is revelant because it may have an effect on output through supply and demand mechanism, but theoretical and positive research have revealed that the output elasticity of interest rates is rather insignificant in China. Therefore, we should keep an eye on the following two points in reshaping Chinese interest rate system. First, we should make sure that interest rates stay in the equilbrium interval in accord with other parts in economy including price movement, markets of money, capital and foreign exchange etc..Secondly,while the level of interest rates is not a suitable way to manage short term demand, we may just as well make it a medium or long term orientating tool displaying policy and institution of the Government.

On the Methodology of the Three Discipline Groups
So far as methodology is concerned, the three discipline groups, namely, the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, have their own peculiar stresses on the following aspects respectively:perfection through edification, matter of fact, spirit and exploration of new sphere of knowledge through the study of the way nature works. Such differences in the nature of methodology naturally lead to differences in academic orientations and criteria. On the other hand, the harmony between universe and human being is exactly a manifestation of the integration of different elements in the trinity of the three discipline groups(i.e.isomorphism) and the co existence, mutual completement and interactions of their multiple methodologies. This harmony, in turn, is a product of the philosophical believes of the ultimate unity after long separation, the tolerance of difference and the compatibility of different elements. Therefore, the remedies for undue biases in each of the three discipline groups and for the syndrome of civilization can be found in the "immediate emphasis on the significance of kun" (a symbol in Yijing, a classic of Confucianism, representing Mother Earth). As a matter of fact we will eventually realize that this is also a policy with strategic importance for our transition from global village civilization to the solar system civilization.

On the Humanism in Chinese History
The paper borrows "humanism" from West to illustrate Chinese classical ideology and culture. The enlightening trend of thought happening in late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, should be properly called humanism, which was represented by Li Zhi, Tang Xian zhu, Dai Zhen,Cao Xue qin and so on. Although humanism trend didn't produce revival of literature as occurred in the west,it originated modern culture in China. At present there are many different opinions over the understanding of "humanism" in Chinese academia.A lot of scholars summarize the spirit of confucianism, even the spirit of Chinese culture as "humanism". This paper defines the word "humanism" necessarily and makes some discrimination and analysis.

Roberto Assagioli''''s Personality Theory and Psychotherapy Model
Roberto Assagioli, an Italian psychiatrist, is best known for his formulation of a personality theory and psychotherapy model called "psychosynthesis", which opposites Frued's "psychoanalysis", but it is not so influential in comparison with the latter. Assagioli proposes "height psychology" which opposites "depth psychology", and maintaines that the goal of psychotherapy is to integrate the different subpersonalities within the person and then make these subpersonalities interact harmoniously. Assagioli's spiritual orientationed personality theory and psychotherapy techniques has laid a foundation for transpersonal psychology.

On the Communist Party of China and the Starting of the Modernization in the Early Years of PRC
The early years of PRC constituted the starting period for the modernization for the new China. In these years CPC made the primary plan of modernizing China and took a number of important measures for its starting. The plan and measures originated from the combination of other countries' modernization with the practical situation in China, so they resulted in a great deal of achievements which made the years the most successful period in the process of the modernization in China before 1978, the year when the reform and open policy were launched. On the other hand there seemed to be some shortcomings and limitations in these early efforts of modernization in retrospect, as pointed out in the essay.

The Party''s Work for United Front in Hubei during the Period of Anti-Japanese War and Its Enlightenment
The Party's work for united front in Hubei during the period of anti Japanese war can be roughly divided into three stages. At the first stage, the Party did the work among senior officials in Wuhan and formed the Hubei united front against the Japanese on the basis of the cooperation between the Chinese Communist Party and KMT, which took Wuhan as its center. At the second stage, the Party did the work among KMT officers and local officials in the areas around Wuhan, which resulted in the extension of the united front. At the third stage, the Party consolidated and developed the united front by more extensive and substantive work under the attacking of the Japanese and puppet armies. The Party's work at that time has a great deal of enlightenment for the present work.

A Comparison between Sun Ya-sen and Yen Fuh on Their Ideal Social Patterns during the Revolution of 1911
This thesis analyses the similarities and differences between Sun Yat sen's and Yen Fuh's ideal social patterns, and draws some enlightenment from these two patterns. It points out that both Sun Yat sen and Yen Fuh had developed logically their ideal social patterns from their patriotic thoughts; that they both took the modernization and equalization as the main goals of their ideal society, but they had some different emphasis in the equalization; that they both had discussed the cause of the apperance of the socialism, but they had some differences in their recognition upon the relationship between ideal and reality. It also concludes that the two ideal social patterns are ahead of their times, and that the socialism should be founded on the base of the advanced social productive forces.
