Abstract：Studying urban inefficient land is of great significance for space coordination and layout optimization of urban land as well as promoting the sustainable development of the city. Based on survey data of urban inefficient land of Ningbo and proceeding from different type of urban inefficient land， spatial pattern of urban inefficient land in Ningbo is studied quantitatively by spatial autocorrelation analysis in the town scale. Results show that： the distribution of urban inefficient land of Ningbo in the town scale has the characteristics of significant agglomeration. Old villages and old factories are of quite strong agglomeration， while old towns are relatively discrete. Old towns are mainly located at the junction of Yuyao and Cixi/Fenghua； old villages gathered in northeastern Fenghua and Jiangbei； old factories form “cluster” in Yuyao， raising continuous “depressions” in southeastern Ningbo， and dominate the overall distribution pattern.
