Abstract：The old town rebuilding is a difficult point of the urban construction,and a complicated social system engineering.Yuexiu District of Guangzhou is doing one's utmost to promote the old city to transform and questing for the dilapidated houses transformed pattern such as the simply repairing and solving the dilapidated houses,land agent participating,government leading the work that dismantling the dilapidated houses and planting green trees.The pattern of the dilapidated house transformed in Guangzhou city is innovated constantly and makes good social,ecological and environmental benefit.At present,Yuexiu District is exploring actively the new mode of the old town rebuilding that sets up "people-oriented,the government and people inter-participating".
