Abstract:The Lie symmetry and conserved quantity of variable mass nonholonomic systems in terms of delta derivative is discussed on time scales. First, based on D’Alembert-Lagrange principle, the differential equation of nonholonomic system with variable mass on time scale is derived.Then by using the invariance of the infinitesimal transformation for variable mass nonholonomic system on time scales, the determining equation of Lie symmetry is established, and the structure equation and conservation quantity of the system are given. Finally, an example is given to illustrate its application.
