Abstract:The collinear improved dipole amplitude in target rapidity representation is used to study the vector meson production in high energy electron-proton collisions. We firstly solve collinear improved evolution equation numerically, and obtain the numerical version of dipole amplitude which shall use in the calculation of the differential cross section of the vector meson production. Fitting the J/ψ and data with the leading order and collinear improved dipole amplitudes in order to make comparison, it is generated that χ2/d.o.f=1.485(J/ψ)andχ2/d.o.f=1.696() in the leading order case, and χ2/d.o.f=0.996(J/ψ)andχ2/d.o.f=1.089() in the collinear improved case, respectively. Our results show that the collinear improved dipole amplitude in target rapidity representation can describe the data better than the leading order one.
