Abstract:In recent 20 years, many scholars have found that human activities have a profound impact on the content and composition of soil organic carbon, and revealed the impact mechanism of land use changes on soil organic carbon in different regions. In order to grasp the research and development trends in this field as a whole, CiteSpace software was used to visually analyze 234 literatures in this field from 2002 to 2021. The results show that from 2002 to 2021, the impact of land use change on soil organic carbon has experienced three research stages. The first is the initial stage in which the amount of literature increases slowly year by year (2002-2007), followed by the rising stage in which the amount of literature increases rapidly (2008-2011), and then the stable development stage that tends to be gentle (2012 to present). The core authors Wu Jinshui, Wu Jianguo, Jiang Changsheng and others have published a large number of papers and gradually formed three stable research teams. The mutation keywords show that the research hotspots are mainly concentrated in wetland soil and organic carbon components. Summarizing the existing research results, it's found that the research on soil organic carbon content of forest land and cultivated land is relatively mature. The micro level of wetland soil organic carbon and its organic carbon will become the research trend in the future.
