THE IMMUNOENZYME ELECTRON MICROSCOPY ON THE MIDGUT EPITHELIAL CELLS OF PIERIS RAPAE LARVAE INFECTED WITH BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS VAR. GALLERIAE PARASPORAL CRYSTAL TOXIN
Abstract：Bacillus thurinyiensis var. galleriae parasporal crystals were purified by two phase method. The specific antiserum was prapared by inoculating rabbits with the alkali-solubilized crystal protein. Then the technique of immunoenzyme electron microscopy employed to examine the midgut epithelial ceils of Pieris rapae infected with the purified crystals. It could be observed that a presence of the crystal protein was revealed on the Cytoplasmie membrane.
