Abstract：The linear crystallization velocity (C.V) of sodium acetate trihydrate in supercooled fluid was measured. The effects on the C.V. of the presence of varying amounts of additive materials were investigated. Additive materials may include glycol.glycerol, starch, sucrose, glucose etc. The additive materials is include in the mixture in amount of from about 1 to 10 percent by weight. Crystal growth data are reguired to model properly a salt hydrate energy storaye system
