Abstract:The fossils of Fusulinids are rather common in the Carboniferous strata and proved to be one of the best index fossils in the strata. In the 1920s-1940s, Professor Li Siguang made a thorough study of the Fusulinids in systematic way. He published more than tan papers and treatises, such as A Graphic Mothod to Aid Specific Determinvtion of Fusulinidec and Fusulinidae of North China and Taxonomio Criteria of Fusulinidae With Notes on Seven New Permian Genera. He presented the ten principles to classification of the Fusulinids, which made a great contribution to the study of the fossils of Fusulinids and won high praise of geoloists both from China and abroap.
