Abstract:This paper repores peripheral bloea smear neutrophil nuclear excrescence average ratios of (?) workers wo king in dyestuff and agricultural chemical factories located in Xiangtan, Hunan Province. The average ratios are 52.4% and 52.2%. This is significantly different when compared whth the average value, 21.9% of a group of peopie residing in an unpolluted area. It also shows that the time, when the people stay in the factories, is in direct proportion to the excrescence ratios, which the persons have in their smears. The results above, which both have theoretical and practical significance, indicate that the test promisingly can be applied to early findings of unconscious impairments in the human body as well as the prompt detecting of pollution in the environment.
