Abstract：The polyhedra, polyhedrin and virion of the VHA273 strain of Heliothis armigera nuclear polyhedrosis virus were purified by using ultracentrifugation and sepharose 2B or sepharose 6B column chromatography to study the serological natrue of the VHA273 strain. The results of double immunodiffusion not and immuno-electrophoresis in 1% and 0.65% agarose gel indicated that there is serological relatiouship between the polyhedrin and virion of the VHA273, though they could react only with their homologous antiscra. Compared studies of the sNPV and mNPV of the VHA273 strain revealed that both of them were identical in serological nature.
