Abstract：Twenty-two different Z/E ratios of wittig reaction product, 1-chloro-4-(2-phenylethenyl)-benzene, have been determined by testtig technique method of GC/MS. Mass Spectra' s Selected Ion Monitoring (SIM) is used for quantitative analysis. The resuits show that the method is highly sensitive, quantitative and reliable.
