Abstract：The effects of factory mixed air pollution on leaves and flowers of Michelia figo are as follows: 1) Tips of some old leaves becom yellow and their Protective tissue and assimilating tissue disntegrated evidently. The youg leaves are more resietant to factory mixed air pollution than old leaves and their tissur arw harmless. 2) Bracts of some flowers become yollow, there are mang necrotic cells in their epidermis and inside tissue, The marginal cells of outside perianth tipd are diminshed, While the inside perianth and stuamina and gynaecia are harmless. 3) They bloom normally.
