Abstract：This paper reports the synthesis of new Schiff bass (4-Chloroben-zaldehyde -2', 6'-dichlorobenzylidenimine, 4-Methylbenzaldehyde-2', 6'-dichloro-benzylidenimine, 4-Methoxybenzaldehyde-2', 6'-dichlorobenzylidenimine) for the first time. Their physical constants, UV, IR ~1H NMR, elementary analysis and biological activity were original studied. The activity of plant grouth hormones of these Schiff base were discovered.
