Abstract：Nongnongping is located in the area of intensive earthquake and engineering construction is closely related to geoloical base. In the light of field survey and experiment analysis, some Quaternary problems are discussed such as cause, type, order of Quaternary strata and lower limit of Quaternary. Quaternary stratum system is established, basic engineering geological problems are studied and riliable conclusion is presented.
