Abstract：In this paper, the authors have calculated the sunlight and temperature potential productivity, the climate potential productivity and the land natural potential productivity of each major crop in different areas of Jianghan Plain by using some calculating models built so far. The ressults indicte that actual crop yield per unit land is less than Its land potential productivity because the distributions of water resources and soil fertility aren't uneven. At last, the authors suggested some measures to raise the crop field by enlarging multiple crop inder, optimizing cropping system and rationalzing water and land etc.
