Abstract：According to the landform of some city in China, the writer analyses andproves the features of the land form in this paper. These cities are divieled into threelarge types: littoral, inland river and plateau valley basin, and into ten subtypes:f coast plain, littoral mountainous area, alluvials plain, inland valley basin, the inclined plain in front of mountains, inland arid-semiarid seasonally frozen ground, logss pleteau valley basin, Karst valley basin, deep river cut valley and plateaufrozen valley basin. Every type or subtype has their own unique condition of landform.
