Abstract：Segments of leaf of Astralus chinensis L.,cultured in vitro under different light quality,its callus induction,growth,root and bud differrentiation can be different. yellow,blue, red, green,white light and dark can induce callus all. yellow, blue and red light are the most effective. blue light has considerable effect on callus growth. while yellow light inhibits growth evidently. yellow and blue light have considerable effect on root and bud differentiation,while Green light inhibits it.
