Abstract：In this paper, based on analysing the influence factors of GIS Information flow, the influences which caused from human, machine and environment on the GIS development are discussed. The GIS's information flow is inluenced by many factors, In which the world model influences its constitution and components,the normal data structure determines the data input and processing, the systematical goals and user demands introduce the direction of the information flow, and the DBMS and software function decide the technique characters of the system. As their complex effects, the condition and its difference between China and American are introduced.
