Abstract：There are 58 species (subspecies) of reptilia belonging to 13 families, 3 orders in Hubei. Among 58 species (subspecies ) of reptilia, 45 are oriental (accounting for 77. 6% ), and main (64. 4%) belong to the species of Central, South China; 5 palaeartic (8. 6 % ), 8 widespread (13. 8% ). The number of species (subspecies) of reptilia in southwestward of Hubei is richer than in the other. The Q cluster analysis shows: the reptilia fauna of Hubei resembles Sichuan, and the 2 provinces are divided in a group.
