Abstract：The fast developing tourism in nature reserves is both a chance and challenge to the nature reserve business. In this paper the meaning and functions of nature reserve, and the significance of tourism development in nature reserve are introduced;and the analyses are given to negative ecological effect of tourism on nature reserve.At last,the paper discusses the concept meaning and operation method of ecotourism,which is considered to be a new type of tourism suitable to nature reserve.
