Abstract:Five Schiff bases of 5 amino 1H 1,2,4 triazole 3 carboxylic acid and five of 3 amino 1H 1,2,4 triazole have been synthesized , among these compounds six are new. These compounds are characterized by UV/Vis,IR, 1H NMR and elemental analysis, and their biological activities are tested. The result shows that Schiff bases of 5 amino triazole 3 carboxylic acid have much better activity than that of 3 amino 1H 1,2,4 triazole, and the Schiff bases containing indolyl have higher activity.
