Abstract:The converse-Compton scattering of the relativistic electrons in strong magnetic field,also called the magnetic converse Compton scattering,is an important radiation mechanism in high energy astronomy. In this paper,adopting the formula of the resonant scattering cross section in the semi-classical quantum theory of the magnetic converse-Compton scattering and using the relativistic translation method,we calculated the spectra of the magnetic converse-Compton scattering near the surface of the magnetic neutron star. Our result is consistent with the observed spectra of GRB very well,which strongly implys that the magnetic converse-Compton scattering is one of the possible radiation mechanisms of the soft repeat burst.
