Abstract：Ten N ethoxyformyl N' (substituted pyrimidin 2 yl)thioureas are synthesized, Nine of them are new compounds. Their structures are confirmed by IR, 1H NMR and elementary analysis.The preliminary herbicidal test shows that some of the target compounds have excellent inhibitory activities against root and stalk of monocotyledon plant,but selective to dicotyledon plant.
