Abstract：This paper systematically reports plant hormone activity of Schiff bases of triazole,thiadiazole and tetrazole for the first time.It is found from the results of biological tests that many of the Schiff bases have remarkable activity on plant hormone,Schiff bases oftriazole have excellent activity of cytokinin,Schiff bases of tetrazole have exce llent activity on auxins and growth of root and hormone activity on Schiff base of thiadiazole is worse.It is proved from the results of biological tests that Schif f bases of chlorobenzaldhydes,thiophenaldehyde and indolaldehyde have more excellent activity.
