Abstract：The Middle Route of Chinese South-to-North Water Transfer Project is a one that transfers water from Danjiangkou Reservoir to North China, which also can meet the requirement of water need for Tangbai River Basin and Huai River Basin in Hubei and Henan provinces. The middle and lower basins of Hanjiang River are the agriculture and industry bases, and also economic development center of the river basin. As the Hanjiang River's discharge and its distribution will be changed by transferring water to North China, also influence on the agriculture, industry, city development, environment, fishery et al to the Hubei province. It is necessary to do some compensation projects to reduce the disadvantage effects.
