Abstract：This paper probes into the location condition for propagating the culture of the Yangtze River from the angle of natural ecological environment. The analysis indicates that, the Yangtze basin is located in a precious terra of subtropics, which is "oasis" or "rich soil" for nourishing culture; it backs to "the roof of the world" and faces to the vast ocean which makes it the protective screen and passageway for culture communication; it is located between the natural interim zone and ecological crisscross belt, which presents the abundance and diversity of the culture.
