Abstract：Ambiguity problem is a difficulty for Natural Language Processing. Chinese word ambiguity includes words with same pronunciation,word having two or more meanings,and so on. Many approaches have been developed for word disambiguation,including principle based tactics,statistics based tactics.This paper introduces a methord based on HNC theory, and gives examples to show the application of this method.
