Abstract：Mobile agent is a new technology which is very promising in network management area. Firstly,this paper introduces the architecture of network management based on mobile agent.Then according to the feature of Java programming language, it discusses its advantages in developing mobile agent and several technological implementation methods.At last, it gives out an example.
