Abstract：The decrease of cultivated land resource has become one of the most important problems in Hubei province and the trend of decrease will continue with further development of economy and towns. This paper analyzes the regional difference of the changes of cultivated land resources by using the statistics from 1990 to 2000, and separates them into 4 types according to the grading of the cultivated land areas and the cultivated land areas per capita by yearly average variation. And it points out some problems of the types and offers some solutions.
